The Hearts Of Kings
I confess I’ve fallen from You
And, even at my best, I’m a stumbling fool
I’ve given way to lust and lies
Let selfishness run my life
I’ve lost and lost, but still I’ve tried
To find my purpose inside this pride
But You hold the hearts of kings
Like a river in Your hand
And You guide them sovereignly
According to Your plan
So where I fall and where I fail
Where my sin and wounds seem too deep
You know me still, Your grace prevails
And You call me into Your peace
You have shown me the depths of Your love
And pursued me even when I’d turn and run
You gave it all to save my life
To make me pure, and wash me white
So here I am, before Your eyes
Who You’ve unveiled as Your precious Bride
‘Cause You hold the hearts of kings
Like a river in Your hand
And You guide them sovereignly
According to Your plan
Where I’d fallen, where I’d failed
Where my sin and wounds ran too deep
You chased me down, Your grace abounds
By Your blood, I have been set free
Lead me to Your throne
Take me as Your own
