Everyone knows how to die
They prove it all the time
Some grow old and ossify
But not before they multiply

Some whither dignified
Others simply crucified
Or they might be deified
Become one’s of god’s alumni

Everyone knows how to die

They might catch a toe out on a walk
Crack their skull on a hard rock

Some drink poison in a cult
Some are left to rot in a vault
They speed along on their commute
