Hands In Heaven
There were people in my life
Who have left great memories
I can smell the cookies baking
That Grandma made with me
I can hear Grandpa's stories
That he told so cheerfully
When I was just a young child
Sitting on his knee
They're all holding hands in heaven
With joyful tears in their eyes
Praying, holding hands in heaven
For the loved ones left behind
I can still feel mama's arms
Gently holding me
Her tender touch, her loving smilе
And joyful melodies
Daddy came homе tired from work
At the end of his long day
Then shortly after supper
He'd take me out to play
They're all holding hands in heaven
With joyful tears in their eyes
Praying, holding hands in heaven
For the loved ones left behind
It's hard to say goodbye
To my friends and family
They are memories of a lifetime
Cherished but unseen
I know I'm in their presence
When I kneel down to pray
And just like Jesus promised
I'll see them all someday
They're all holding hands in heaven
With joyful tears in their eyes
Praying, holding hands in heaven
For the loved ones left behind
For the loved ones left behind
