I don't hate, nor do despise
But one fact all heroes want
Yet it's time that flies
Does man feel strong in disguise?

Like an optical switch to dim our light
Why not leave it bright so we fear no night?
No wolves that howl may break our might
Arm in arm, left to right

Just see human, not black nor white
Just a brother that feels like I lost inside
A world that died
I see a sister I see in many
They all have stories, I have heard plenty

Greed and power run the quenching
Stop the ego and break the fences
And when they say, "Build a wall"
Will you say
"For who's house? Who should I call?"

I do not profess a political manner
But Oprah does, and I still stan her
I'm a poet, I speak my mind
Take what you will and comprehend it

A thought just popped in the
Middle of this sentence
If time just stopped
Then we'd never see the ending
I guess that's the beauty of
Every creator given life
We see and feel the miracle
Around us all the time
We breathe and just the oxygen is
Enough to get you high
